STORIES THAT INSPIRE
Picture

I long to understand why people do the things they do, so I’m drawn to writing about characters and their motivations. Our faith, and our relationships with friends and family affect how we see the world and make us who we are.

The son of an Air Force pilot, Ken traveled extensively as a child, developing a love for architecture and reading, later pursuing a career in landscape architecture.
After creating a successful design business, Ken turned his attention to his first love, writing.

Ken's first screenplay, “Drum,” an action/romance feature, was a winner in the Industry Insider contest co-sponsored by The Writers' Store and producer Simon Kinberg.  Ken has completed more than two dozen feature scripts, with (6) award-winning feature films (A HORSE FOR SUMMER, THE SPARROWS: NESTING, SAVED BY GRACE, ANOTHER TANGO, RUNNIN' FROM MY ROOTS, and FISHES 'N LOAVES), and two short films produced.  To date, Ken has completed eight writer-for-hire and screenplay adaptation assignments.

Ken splits his time between Atlanta and Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia, where he lives with his spouse and two rescue Boxers, Cash and Roxy.
